YBB - Applications are now open for the inaugural SEAP Fellows 2026 program, a paid remote fellowship designed for early-career human rights professionals across the Asia Pacific region. Organized by Nationality for All (NFA), this three-month fellowship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the region’s most significant research initiatives focused on statelessness and nationality rights.
Moreover, selected fellows will work directly on the second edition of the Statelessness Encyclopedia Asia Pacific (SEAP). Therefore, participants will gain practical experience while contributing to research and advocacy efforts that create meaningful social impact
The SEAP Fellowship Programme forms part of Nationality for All’s ongoing efforts to strengthen knowledge and advocacy surrounding statelessness, nationality rights, legal identity systems, and exclusion in Asia-Pacific communities.
Over the years, SEAP has become one of the region’s most comprehensive knowledge resources on nationality laws and populations affected by statelessness. In addition, the 2026 fellowship aims to support updates and verification work across Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Central Asia.
Selected fellows will collaborate with the NFA research team and contribute to critical human rights documentation and knowledge production.
